Ksera is a band from Thessaloniki and comes in wild to mark the local underground scene with its stigma; especially to mark the more extreme field of the scene, which grows stronger day by day, with all the good releases from across the country.
We’re dealing with the band’s second record, following the split release with Zvarna (another great band). Obviously, the band’s name makes you realize that it’s not something you’ll listen to all the time. It’s a group that knows and fully understands what grindcore is and applies it in the best possible way. Fast, noisy and simultaneously tough riffs are what Ksera is all about. The tracks are short in time, offering the listener a small dose of extreme sound, without being based on metal standards. I mention that because those who’ve grown accustomed to listen to easy – flowing music, especially those who dig extreme metal, it would be better to avoid this stuff, as it’ll only cause ear disturbance to them.
