Another live album for the Teutons, the German dogs of war, the tireless workers of our favorite music, the magnificent ACCEPT!!! And yes, I have to admit that from all the live albums that lately have been released (and were all in my responsibility to review!!!), this is the only one that its release makes most sense. In this third youth that the band is currently experiencing, which is itself incredible and admirable, the quality of the studio results needed a stunning live album / DVD as the culmination of Mark Tornillo’s era. Whom Tornillo has done something unique, replacing a living legend both in studio and in the performances of the band in every corner of the globe. Naturally in the tracklisting will find also the classics of ACCEPT’s golden era. Alas, this has also its interest, to hear classic tracks from the american’s voice, although those who were fortunate to see them in the last seven years, they know exactly what they bargained for at this double album. Satisfying, with 27 tracks each one better than the other, covering the whole of the vast discography of the Germans, recorded in various places across the continent, unlike the DVD which is recorded in 2015 at Bang Your Head Festival in Germany (as the Primordial did the same year and released in past October). This seems to be a reasonable choice as Bang Your Head Festival has the equipment to do the filming and recording, the result is solid as all the scenes are in one place and mostly their most loyal fan base (the one coming from their homeland) is satisfied as they see their faces on screen and hear their screams on the cd. A must with eyes closed for the rich material and for the band’s high level of performance.
