AC/DC Drummer Arrested for Possibly Arranging a Murder

Last Updated on 12:01 PM by Lilliana Tseka

Today’s biggest news in rock music will undoubtedly be the arrest of AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd. The 60-year-old Rudd was arrested after a search in his house in New Zealand. The charges state he supposedly ordered the murder of two men through a hitman. Next to this, Rudd also faces drug charges.

Rudd was a drummer for AC/DC from 1974 until 1983 and again since 1994. He sat behind the drum kit on some of the band’s legendary albums like ‘Highway To Hell’, ‘Back In Black’ and ‘For Those About To Rock We Salute You’.

The effects his trial will have on the album release of ‘Rock or Bust’ on December 2 or the following world tour remains to be seen.

Will this turn into another Tim Lambesis (ex-As I Lay Dying) story?
