Genre: N.W.O.B.H.M./Heavy Metal
Country: England
Label: Metal Nation Records
Year: 2014

Forget that Brian Ross gave life again to his band the legendary Blitzkrieg and finally achieved to release the great debut album “A Time of Changes” in 1985. And travel back to time to see a young and full of energy band with the same name, which made Leicester metalheads so proud with its demo recordings and live appearances just before they split up for almost 3 years. This collection was originally released in January 2014 in limited edition vinyl (700 copies) via High Roller Records while now is available via Metal Nation Records in cd. Actually we are dealing with a collection including the 1980 demo (“Blitzkrieg”, “Inferno” & “Armageddon”), while the rest tracks are live-in-the-studio tracks, some unreleased, 2 Deep Purple covers (“Child in Time” & “Highway Star”) and some later overdubbed with crowd applause and released as the “Blitzed Alive” tape. Back in 1980/81 you could buy these tracks only in Blitzkrieg’s live shows or from their base in Brazil Street. Great collection (coming with a 12 page booklet and full of archive memorabilia and sleeve notes) that excellently captures the feeling of the band’s early days and the whole spirit N.W.O.B.H.M. had in 1981. The title plays with the street name of Blitzkrieg’s headquarters and the novel “The Boys from Brazil” by Ira Levin that was the base of the famous movie on  the same name (1978) directed by Franklin J. Schaffner starring Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier.
