Most of you probably never heard of Pat Benatar. Benatar was one of the most heavily played artists in the early days of MTV. She was the first female artist to play on MTV, performing “You Better Run”. A really great singer that had many hit singles in her days (including the Top 10 hits “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”, “Love Is a Battlefield”, “We Belong”, and “Invincible”, while other popular singles include “Heartbreaker”, “Treat Me Right”, “Fire and Ice”, “Promises in the Dark”, “Shadows of the Night”, and “All Fired Up”), enjoyining commercial success with her quality pop/rock, hard rock. Now CC Company this excellent project featuring Enforcer members will release a single declaring their love for Pat Benatar with this classic rock cover single.
First off is “Heartbreaker”, this ballbusting chartbuster from ’79 plus a stunning version of “Fire And Ice”. There is also fantastic guest appearances by Robert Pehrsson (Robert Pehrssons Humbuckers) and Maria Eriksson (Beast!). Both tracks are exclusive for this vinyl.
The band is still the same power-trio:
Joseph Tholl on vocals and guitar (Enforcer, Black Trip, Robert Pehrssons Humbuckers), Tobias Lindqvist on bass (Enforcer) and Jonka Andersson on drums (Tribulation).
Once again they have recorded the tracks with Olle Granat in his studio.
The pressing will be in 500 copies via Bootleg Booze Records .
– Regular version: 350 copies on trsp. red vinyl.
– Vinyl club version: 150 copies on black vinyl with a CC-Company “Heartbreaker” Tattoo.
