Stumbling upon the name Criminal Element you’re definitely waiting to hear something really awesome. “Criminal Crime Time” is here to prove us we couldn’t be more wrong about out first thought. We’re dealing with a record that totally lacks inspiration, if you ignore some particular moments. The record consists of 8 tracks. What can I say about them? I can’t think of much to say about this record in general. If you come to think about the band’s lineup, who participated in this release and listen to the actual tracks your mind will be blown away. It’s not possible for these musicians to release such a bad album. By the way, “Modus Operandi” which came out in 2013 had the same effect on me. Back to 2015. Despite some moments that “save” in a way the record, what I liked most is the solid sound of Boyer’s bass. In other news, Matthews’ voice has lost its past glory while Hobbs’ guitars lack the dynamics Hobbs once had. It’s the most disappointing record of 2015. The only thing that stood out for me was the album’s last track “The Bitch Set Me Up”, which comes out strong. I guess it’s the only strong track of this record…
Just because it’s Criminal Element I will give more than zero…
