Eighth album for the German metallers, this time separated in two parts. “Tief-Tiefer”, for “Deep-Deeper” with the first part including the new album and the second one, a best of acoustic and orchestral versions in some band’s classic songs plus two new ones. As always the band doesn’t show any compromise, unleashing again enough installments of madness with eleven almost different songs where you can find various styles in each song. From industrial to death, from ballads to south & eastern traditional songs etc. Die Apokalyptischen Reiter is the most open-minded band in the metal universe with the ‘madman’ singer Fuchs expressive as always in his vocal performance. From the few sympathetic bands with german ascent in their songs, they have gain respect from metal fans all over the world. On ‘Tiefer ’ side there are nine songs played with acoustic guitar, piano and strings giving in some of their classics another dimension. It is clearly a matter of personal taste if you like them or not. Probably either you will love them or they will leave you totally disappointed.
