Dreamrites is a Heavy Metal band from Larisa, Greece mainly influenced by Iron Maiden, high speed levels and catchy riffs. Having appeared on stage both in Greece and abroad with legends such as Heir Apparent, Warrel Dane, Warrior Soul and Skyclad as well as some upcoming dates with Blaze Bayley in June, their first full length album is coming in the near future under the title “Dreamrites”. The album consists of 8 tracks (including the intro “Lord Hypnos”). The first two tracks “Dreamrites” and “Only Time Will Tell” are highly enlightening for the band’s sound and gives the listener the impression that the album could have been released in somewhere between 1979 and 1982. With “Thunder And Lightning” which is my personal favorite, the speed level increases and goes on like that with the 8-minute-long “The Redeemer”, while with “Across The River Styx” an more epic element is introducted and is there to stay until the outro “Snow Queen”. “Dreamrites” is a good organized project by 5 well-studied 80’s heavy metal fans, truly dedicated to what they are trying to achieve. The only thing I can say for sure for the underwriters is that their lives appearances are much better than their studio work. But that’s what counts, right?
