Genre: Heavy Metal
Country: Germany
Label: Independent
Year: 2015

Eisenhauer is a band form Germany, formed in 2007, which has released its debut album “never Surrender” in 2013. Last November the band released this EP of four tracks. From what I understand, Grand Magus is the band’s primal influence, with Iron Maiden following next. Also, the singer reminds me intensely of JB.

Only a handful of bands these days choose to sound like Grand Magus and in Eisenhauer’s case this would only serve as a positive characteristic. Even though four tracks with a total runtime of five minutes each, are not enough to be satisfied, they are a good, quick taste of the band’s talent and explain why Eisenhauer exists in heavy metal genre. Everything seems to have been taken care of meticulously, with attention to every detail both in terms of production and music/vocal delivery. Manly, solid heavy metal, based on Grand Mangus’ legacy. Give ‘em a listen and you won’t miss.
