This is the first demo from Tampere-based Finnish maniacs Executioner’s Blade, and it’s a release that definitely sets expectations high. They describe their sound as blackened speed, and we see no reason to argue — they know exactly what they’re doing, and they’re doing it right, so naming their music under a genres name is pretty much pointless anyway.
The trio (as it should be) delivers three tracks of raw, old-school tavern-thrashing metal that are hard not to enjoy if you’re into this kind of filthy goodness. Worth mentioning is that these bastards have already been involved in solid local bands such as Satan’s Fall and Excuse.
