Fake Healer is a band from Florence, Italy, which was created in 2014 by the three former members of Frozen Tears (5 records between 2000-2009 via My Graveyard Productions, Steelheart Records and Megahard) and another two musicians who were active in the local metal scene for many years. The band was formed from the ashes of Dust Devil (a Frozen Tears’ side – project), a group that had released an EP entitled “Riled Up” in 2013. In 2014 Fake Healer had been working on new material, based upon older ideas, thus creating 8 tracks, which were recorded in FP studio.
The band’s first record “Two Worlds” was released in July 2015. The cover art is a creation of the German artist Markus Vesper (Manilla Road and others) and their lineup is consisted by Alessio Taiti – vocals, Leonardo Taiti – guitar, Simone Cocco – guitar, Massimiliano Dionigi – bass and Filippo Ferrucci – drums. Their music is inspired by the 80s and 90s heavy metal, with many hard rock influences. They’re trying to create a sound of their own with authenticity and character, but I guess these are not enough for the demands of the music industry and the listeners nowadays. If you’re looking for something sophisticated, let this record pass.
