Floor Jansen of Nightwish is diagnosed with cancer

During an announcement on her social media, the Dutch frontwoman of Nightwish, Floor Jansen, announces that she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, a few days after the end of the Finnish band’s tour in Latin America. In her post, the singer, who has been behind the band’s microphone since 2012, announces that she is going to undergo surgery immediately and that the planned European leg of the Nightwish tour will take place as expected.
