Taken from the band’s fb profile: Flotsam and Jetsam are honored to announce that their first appearance on the island of Crete will be at the Chania Rock Festival in Chania, Crete, on Saturday July 18, 2015. Flotsam will share the stage with confirmed acts Sabaton, Gus G., Bon Fire, as well as more to be announced performers.
“Our fans in Crete have always been great supporters of the band and we would like to thank them for their dedication over the years, says guitarist Michael Gilbert, “So, Crete… raise you goblet of rock, for we are coming to toast you in the name of metal, mother fuckerz”.
The Chania Rock Festival is a part of Flotsam’s summer tour of Europe that will have brought the band throughout Europe for over 40 shows between May and August this year. There will be a combination of club dates and festival performances that fans will be able to catch the band at. Flotsam is looking to introduce the European fans to a couple of new songs off their upcoming album at their headlining club shows, to have them be the first to hear the tracks live.
