Forsaken Memoriam is a heavy/stoner band from Heraklion, Greece. The music that these guys deliver sounds really promising. This is the first full-length album for this band and seems to me that it came out at the right time!
The album consists of 8 songs, where you can find many changes in the flow of every single track. The result seems to be really cool, with a great production on the whole album. Heavy riffs combined perfectly with those melodic/aggressive vocals. Also so much groove in this one, which makes you hungry for more and more…
The first song “Face of War” is a great start and from the first minute you can see that this album is for headbanging. Followed by “Forsaken Memories” with a very powerful refrain. Continuously, songs such as “Gambling Soul”, “Madman’s Joke” , “So Long Ago” are just great for the album to go on… Within the whole album you can find interesting doom-rock-southern-heavy parts, which means great ideas on the guitars and the bass guitar, combined great with each other.
This is a very nice release for the underground scene. This is a release that everyone from heavy to death metal listeners would like to listen to…
