Grave Digger are not a one hit single or better say one hit album wonders. I know most of us learned their name as William Wallace storytellers and the ones to sing the clans are marching but they had a couple of nice albums before that. Actually they had a decent fame back in the eighties, they misunderstood what success is and for many, betrayed metal in the dawn of the new decade and for almost twenty years are a low profile hard working band trying to survive through trends and unispitarion. Not to mention recycling your own self. But we have to be fair as a new breed and a fresh air comes on their new album and number 19 to their discography. Probably the polka elements that for some bring in mind the Scottish pipes or the living dead theme that they are dealing and all this zombie story suits well to their Teutonic metal. Personally speaking I prefer seeing them on stage rather buying their album but ‘The Living Dead’ is a good album but this exactly is its problem. It is just good but nothing extraordinary and we are leaving in weird times where every penny or cent counts… Invest on their upcoming shows better and if you are satisfied enough then buy the album from their merchandise bench on the way out of the venue…
