God damn it! Is “Hell Awaits” being re-released? An amazing album coming straight from the capital of Australia, Canberra (or maybe straight from Hell?), and the satanic kids Hellbringer. I don’t know what this diabolic trio had in mind but deciding to play similar to such a dark and colossal album is more likely to be ridiculous and satirized. Hellbringer don’t give a fuck because they are a big band, they now they are strong and able, they feel it, they play it and we are here to salute them with respect.

Of course their debut, “Dominion of Darkness” (2012), was very great and their debut release, “Hellbringer” E.P. (2011) was really good {Just for historical reasons we should mention that this E.P. was firstly released back in 2009 from the band called Forgery. Forgery was the name of the band in their very beginning and except from the artwork, which is different, it includes a new track and also a cover to legendary Armoured Angel}, but in this release they reached the top level. Endless riffs, leads and rhythms in a streaming way, the drums are bombing and vocals are more than respectful. We are in 1986? No, we are in 2016 and a band with guts and quality gives us an album to talk about, remembers us how poisonous and morbid could be the thrash travelling us back to the gold era. The fact that “Awakened from the Abyss” has similarities with ”Hell Awaits” that doesn’t mean we are talking for a copy. The artwork is in the same way of thinking, both albums includes seven tracks, “Coven of Darkness” is the Hellbringer’s “At Dawn They Sleep”… we could say too much. Is there any reason? The band released an unbelievably great album you could not find highlights because is all highlight itself and you will click many times the button “repeat” on your stereo.

One of the best albums of the year. Thank you so much Hellbringer, Thank you so much High Roller Records.
