i.see.red is a gang of five coming straight out of Athens. We’ve just had the chance to give a listen to their first recording effort, “As Hope Runs Dry”, an EP consisting of five songs just a bit more of 16 minutes. At the first moment anyone can get that their paying a pure tribute to the American Metal school that we all loved with Lamb of God as frontrunners who’s songwriting palette one can easily find in them in combination with the same vocal philosophy. Their constant riffing breaks with groovie parts and breakdowns that reminds somewhat of Chimaira. This is the way that most of the EP goes with an exception on the last song where the band wears a new face, a little more atmospheric and slower in tempo that bring up the older Machine Head era. It’s an extremely honest first attempt from i.see.red and definitely fans of the genre won’t be disappointed. I’m looking forward for a more complete work of theirs and hope for more personal elements on their music.

It's got to be emotional, extremely fast or incredibly slow.
