October, 2016, marks the 30th anniversary of U.S. power thrash band Intrinsic laying down tracks in the recording studio for their debut, self-titled album. Intrinsic garnered immediate acclaim in the metal press and radio at the time of its release in 1987, including a rare 5K review in Kerrang!, the era’s biggest metal magazine in the world. To commemorate this milestone, Intrinsic has released a vintage video with rare clips of the band recording the album live in the studio. In just weeks, the video already has over 30,000 views. (see video below). You can read the review of the reactivated Intrinsic fresh off the 2015 album Nails (on Divebomb Records label) release by Savvas kofidis here and Mike’s Mellinger recent interview with Giorgos Tsekas here.
