Kenn Nardi (ex-Anacrusis) made this statement in his facebook page, concerning his upcoming european live performances:
“Very soon I will be announcing the first of the handful special shows I will be playing in and around Europe next April. I do want to clarify a few things so there will be no confusion. These performances will be me performing with my new solo band and not any Anacrusis line-up. We will, of course, be playing plenty of Anacrusis tunes along with songs from my album DANCING WITH THE PAST.
Understandably, some promoters may want to lean heavily on any recognition the name Anacrusis might bring, but I don’t want anyone to have the wrong impression about what to expect. Though I was the guitarist/vocalist and chief song-writer in Anacrusis, the band was truly a collaborative effort from beginning to end and out of respect for the other members and to our fans, I am playing these shows under my own name and not that of the band. The line-up will feature ex-Anacrusis drummer Chad E. Smith (Manic Impressions), but the focus will very much be on my new solo material in addition to the old songs.
In addition to bringing my new music to the stage with all of the force and energy of a great live band, we will be performing a mix of material from all 4 Anacrusis albums and will do our best to play the old material “true to form”. I don’t believe any Anacrusis fan will be disappointed with what they will see or hear and I do hope that all of you will come out and support me. \m/
