Λίγες ακόμα πληροφορίες για τις μπάντες (όπως αναγράφονται στις σελίδες των συγκροτημάτων στο Facebook)
Ironsword: The band was formed in 1995 and slowly established all over the years a respected underground cult status and considered one of the pioneering bands in a subset of traditional Heavy Metal.
Tann – Guitars, Vocals
João Monteiro – Drums
Jorge Martins – Bass
Reflection: For over a quarter of a century, Reflection is one of the key bands of Hellenic Epic/Doom Metal. The forceful first years saw the band releasing the demos “Before the End” (1992) and “When Immortals… Die!” (1993), which features the emblematic self-titled song. As consequent steps, the now three times sold out “Sire of the Storm” 7 EP (1995) and “The Fire Still Burns” CD (1999) were released, establishing the band in the Greek heavy metal landscape.
Enter new millennium and the band releases the “Realms of the Night” split CD (2001, with Innerwish), “The Fire Still Burns-2001 Edition” CD (2001) and the concept album “Odyssey” (2003). The latter release claimed and earned the appraisal of the world wide underground press and was hailed as one very ambitious Epic Metal release in the world. The foreign and the Greek magazines referred to it with the best words, talking about a classic album.
In 2006, Reflection made important changes in their lineup. The only members that stayed were the brothers Stathis and George Pavlantis, in guitars and drums respectively. Having gradually ingested many Doom Metal elements in its music, the dynamics of the band were massively augmented with the recruitment of Leo Stivala, singer of the Maltese doomsters Forsaken. The band was also joined by John Litinakis who offers his powerful bass playing in the rhythm section of Reflection, while Iraklis Loukakis now provides his services in keyboards and backing vocals.
In 2008 the band signed contract with the Italian record company Cruz Del Sur and released “When Shadows Fall”. The band gained huge recognition and received fine reviews among the metalheads around the world. The album features plenty of solid tunes, all captured in a very dark atmosphere, showing the band’s virtues in composing high class Epic Doom metal. It is the time that Reflection started playing plenty of shows outside the Greek borders.
In 2013, Leo Stivala –due to personal reasons, including his heavy schedule with Forsaken– decided to leave and the band was forced to search for a new singer.
After two years of auditioning, George Thomaidis joined forces and the band immediately entered “The Music House” in order to record the successor of “When Shadows Fall”. Thomaidis, a genuine heavy metal voice, helped the band to record “Bleed Babylon Bleed”, which was released by the Cypriot PitchBlack Records. The album is a rejoice of heavy metal strength and multitude and received many praising reviews. Literally, the eight years of absence did not affect the band at all. Shortly after, due to personal commitments, Iraklis Loukakis could not offer his services in the live appearance of the band, but this has not affected the band either.
By being primary a live band, Reflection brings the Epic/Doom essence of their albums on stage with such persuasive manner that no one can ignore. Reflection has performed in numerous live shows as a headline and participated in a big number of festivals. Also, the band has joined forces on stage with world famous acts like Solitude Aeturnus, Tokyo Blade, Brocas Helm, Demon, Paul Di Anno, Wotan and many more.

Airged L’amh : Airged L’amh is a metal band based in Athens. Originally formed as a school band and under the name “Ragnarok”, Alexander Vasilopoulos (guitars) and John Georgopoulos (vocals) created a group that would move in epic/folk fields even with the lyrics based on ancient legends of battles from all around the world. The band started writing songs and soon completed the line up with another guitarist (Michalis Peradinos), a bass player (Gus Makrikostas) and a drummer (George Zoubourlis). With only one change in that line up (George Thanasopoulos taking place behind the drum kit) the band was forced to change the name because two other (internationally known) bands were having the same name. The decision was “Airged L’amh” (This is Gaelic, in plain English it means “The Silver Arm”).
After 1998 there were several changes in the line-up as the members of the band had to serve their duty in the army. Alexander Vasilopoulos would continue to write songs and when Airged L’amh got back together, only three members were now in the band. A guitarist and a vocalist was missing. George Sofikitis (guitars) and Steve Venardo (Vocals) were the two people to complete the puzzle.
After the completion of the line-up, the band sure now for its members began immediately writing songs for the new album.
Finally in autumn 2003, and with John Luna Tsimas replacing Gus Makrikostas in bass…

Spiros Triantafyllou : Guitars
