It’s fast, fast, fast! These are the three words that can describe perfectly what these Swedes and “Check Your Grind” deliver. Livet Son Insats is a band that doesn’t play something that you’ve never heard of as long as you’re involved in this kind of genre, they don’t have a stand-out character, though what the band does, is doing it in the right way, in terms of performance and production. You’ll tell me… is it possibe for Swedes to suck at playing? I don’t think so!
What we are dealing with is filled with grindcore in its core, with many hardcore elements and mid tempos that create the ultimate ”MOSH”” aesthetics. This is the band’s second full length album and i personally recommend it to those who dig bands such as Gadget, Nasum, Infest, Napalm Death, as well as Minor Threat, Verbal Abuse and all that ’80s hardcore mixture! Twenty four tracks in twenty three minutes say it all. In your face or what??? The record has been released in CD and LP format via the Polish label EveryDayHate Records and the Swedish label Spela Snabbare Records.
