Finnish shock rock monsters decided to prank their fanbase on April Fools, stating that they would release four new albums this year. However, this was dismissed the day after, since the band announced the release of seven brand new full albums within 2021. According to Mr. Lordi, since the band had to cut short their “Killectour” last spring due to the corona restrictions across the world, they started working on new material immediately. On January 2020, Lordi released “Killection” through AFM Records, which was a “fictional compilation album”, including supposed recordings from various eras and in various genres. This time, each song will be a full album. The band is also due to appear during the Rock the Roof acts for Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, on the day of the final.
