Mortal Pain was a death/thrash metal band from Marousi, Athens. The band was formed in October 1989. They released their debut demo with three songs plus the Celtic Frost cover ‘Return to the Eve’. In April 1991 they released their second demo. The band put also one song (‘The Fear Within’) on the Greek compilation LP ‘Screwing the Sane’ out on Molon Lave Records (MLP 004). In 1992 they entered Praxis Studios with the producer Kostas Parissis to write songs for their ‘7 Ep through Molon Lave Records.
Band’s words:
“These are 2 unreleased tracks of Mortal Pain which I would like to share with you people. They were originally recorded with the other 2 tracks of our ‘7 Ep ‘Where Somewhere is Nowhere’. We had to decide which two of these four tracks to release in the ‘Ep. These were the unlucky ones. So, after all those years it is time to go public. Hope you like them.”
