Alpine stoner? Why not! These guys know how to groove and for sure know how to mindtrip you. “Low and Behold!” is their debut EP album and all of its 4 songs are top class psychedelic blues heavy rock anthems. The Spell, the first song, has a Songs for the Deaf (QOTSA) groove surrounded by a sweet melancholic riffing with ragged vocal lines that you simply cannot avoid listening 24/7. In your car?In your job?In your house? The Spell will be haunting you. Next song is King Beyond, which is more bluesy and is kind of Wolfmotherish (or Lonely Kameltoe?). Anyway, it’s awesome if you ask me. The Day She Stole the Sun is a classic blues ballad… ideal song to grab your girl (or your man…) tightly and dance slowly till the end of time. The EP is closing with the song Levitations which is their Landing on the Mountains of Meggido (Down). Alpenliebe!
