Serbia the last few years has developed a raging thrash scene (an extreme one in general, if you want me to include other genres). One of the bands that emerged is our beloved Nadimač. Popping up through the working class, they deliver their totally aggressive, vicious approach towards the problems they face in their everyday lives and try to awaken each and every one of their supporters to fight back all trials and tribulations.

Two years after “Nejebanježivesile”, Nadimač is finally back to rip our souls apart with their ultraviolent crossover thrash. Their new record is called “Manifest Protiv Sudbine” and it’s released via the underground-worshipping label, Witches Brew. Using their own words, what you’ll listen to is “an extreme version of ultrafast crossover thrash, with a lot of hard core punk, powerviolence, death metal, grind, speed metal and of course thrash metal influences.”

From the first till the last minute, you’re gonna experience an enormous sonic blast that will blow your sock off. Danilo on vocals, Stefan on guitars, Marko on bass and Dragan on drums is the most efficient roster to deliver raw thrash energy to your speakers. It’s obvious that the band has evolved and matured over the last few years. Their compositions are solid and all tracks are tied snugly to one another. There are both super-speed riffs and more melodic ones, contrary to their previous releases. Stefan has done great work on his guitar once more, delivering supersonic riffs and cut-throating solos. On the other hand, Dragan proves once more he is a machine gun man and his hands and feet are working faster than the speed of light. Magnificent drumming at all aspects, filling the general sound in the best possible way. “Duhovi Ulice” stands out with its gang vocals and the bluesy guitar solo, whereas “Sa One Strane Sekire” and “Uradi Sam” show us Danilo’s wide, limitless even, vocal range.  In “Bunike” I love the way the track starts with the bass strings and it’s probably the best track in the record. In general, I love the way the bass is mixed; it’s audible at all times, which excites me, making my heart beat feaster.

Once again, the lyrics are in Serbian and were written by Danilo Trbojevic. Some of you will think that’s a “mistake” or something that will restrain you from fully engulfing “Manifest Protiv Sudbine”. Well, that’s not the case. Loyal to their native language, Nadimač presents you a more exotic and mysterious approach, even though, the lyrics deal with Nadimač’s thoughts on the everyday’s struggles. If I may quote the band’s point of view, “We are from Serbia and we sing about things happening around us, in our own society, which we strive to change”. So, everything’s clear now.

As far as the production is concerned, clearly it’s way better than the one in their previous releases. The album was recorded at Citadela Studio in Belgrade, Serbia, in March 2015. Moreover, it was recorded, mixed, produced and mastered by Luka Matkovic.

Once you hit they play button, you’re gonna be multiply stabbed by Nadimač’s relentless music. Every thrasher that respects himself and the music he’s devoted to, should lay his hands on “Manifest Protiv Sudbine”. Different than anything else, louder than everything else, FASTER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE. Nadimač is one of a kind. Give’em a shot.
