Genre: High Voltage Rock n Roll
Country: U.S.A
Label: SPV/Steamhammer
Year:2015
Ten years have gone by since their latest best of album and the boys and girls from the South, give us another compilation, ideal for drinking, partying and shooting.
It’s a double CD. The first one focuses on their latest releases, especially in the 2014 “Up The Dosage” which made some success but nevertheless sounds like their weakest album so far. On the second CD which is a live recording you can hear some tracks from their first albums and this makes the whole pack more attractive since this band is born for the stage. Their fans will appreciate this release since it’s the best soundtrack to run your tractor on a crowded beach but if you’re new to Nashville you better start from their first albums. Of course, there’s no need to mention on this review the vocals of chief-satyr Blaine Cartwright that can turn a nun into a harbor worker, nor the dirty sledgehammer riffs that come out from the guitar of the goddess Ruyter Suys, not even the rhythm section that kicks you right in the spot.
You may even see this compilation in some adult internet sites with the tags Kinky, Mature, Hardcore. Cause that what it is. There’s also the utter hymn “Hate And Whisky” in this one.
