Good news for those already missing Cathedral!!! Guitarist Gaz Jennings (ex-Cathedral, ex-Acid Reign, etc.) joined forces with belgians Michelle Nocon (ex-Serpentcult), Raf Meukens (Torturerama, ex-Gorath) and Frederik ‘Cozy’ Cosemans (Serpentcult) and formed Death Penalty.
They are going to release a single featuring two songs, ‘Sign of Times’ and ‘Seven Flames’, on July 21st, through Rise Above Records. Later on August a full album is planned to be released, too. Both single’s songs are NOT going to appear in the album. ‘Sign of Times’ is more of a melodic/catchy tune compared to the overall much heavier sound and vibe of tracks which will appear on the album.
