NilExistence was officially formed in late 2014 from the core members of Disfigured Dead. The tracking of the debut record began in 2013 with drums and guitar. Vocals, bass and additional music were tracked in 2014. The album will be mixed and mastered in March of 2015, the release soon to follow.
Brutal Death Metal is on its peak all along this record. Growls and massive vocals are honourable and fulfil perfectly the rest compositions. Some well-played breaks on drums leading to blast beats, so the fast parts take place without mashing our brains and bombing our ears with no reason. Guitars are on the way of brutal death metal with the appropriate “cutting” playing and death rhythms, giving at the same time some solos and leads.
All of the above compose successfully the two songs of this promo release, which is dressed with dark and violent lyrics. Two things are quite important: the first one is that they don’t play any kind of complicated parts and the second one is that they can move easily from slow to mid-paced and fast rhythms and vice-versa. As I mentioned before, you don’t have to play strange, difficult and/or complicated sessions to offer something pleasing or easy-memorable tracks. Maybe some shorter songs would be more attractive, but this in no way means something negative.
Generally speaking, NilExistence is a promising death metal band. Of course, there are many influences, as most bands have, but they have their own “presentation” for this extreme metal. We have to say “Bravo!” to these guys because of the professionalism in the sections of production and sound, although this is a self-released record. “Hey guys, we are looking forward to your full length album!”
