‘En Falsk Utopi’ (A False Utopia)is the new effort from Parasit (via Grindestroy Records / Phobia Records) following the 2020’s LP ‘Samhällets Paria’ (Society’s Pariah) that was repressed on vinyl in 300 more copies in 2022. Parasit considered being an all-star band (although sporadically active) featuring members of legendary bands like Uncurbed, Asocial, Diskonto, and Retaliation among others and they were formed in 2011 in the small town of Avesta, by the Dalecarlia River, 162 km south to Swedish capital Stockholm. The quintet deliver once again in their 4th full-length raging blackened crust mixed with furious D-Beat. 13 songs flourished with blackened vocals, sharp metallic guitars and rapid drumming. The raw and full of energy sound is based on the distorted guitars and thick bass lines, while anthemic when needed, they mix old school Swedish hardcore elements with flexible tempos and acrobatic rhythms that delineate their perspective on traditional D-Beat/Crust. An excellent choice for fans of Motörhead, Victims, Discharge, Martyrdöd, Anti-Cimex, Skitsystem, Krigshot, Mob 47 and Bombstrike.
