Genre: Thrash Metal/Speed
Country: U.S.A.
Label: Rigor Mortis Records
Year: 2014

The story behind this 4th and last album by the Texans is rather sad. The sudden death of Rigor Mortis guitarist and founding member Mike Scaccia, stopped band’s plans for releasing new material. After the lack of interest from labels to finance album’s release, the remaining members decided to request financial help of their followers through the process now known to accumulate the amount of money needed, and which failed.

The result justifies them perfectly. Fans of the genre will find here their new addiction. How else could it be, as the album opener is an anthem like “Polltergeist”, a song that will mark their catalogue and in a few years it will be considered as one of their best, ever. So as the rest of the album, that are on the same top level, such as “Rain of Ruin”, “Flesh for Flies” & “The Infected” that satisfy our need for well played and inspired speed/thrash.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting any new album by Rigor Mortis in the year 2014 and beyond that, to be so thrilled from it!!!
