Over the course of the last decade there are plenty of metal bands and artists that choose to release comic books – Kiss, Gwar, Alice Cooper, Danzig, and Amon Amarth are just a few and Rotting Christ just entered this list. Today the Rotting Christ comic book came to light and is a creation by American artist Jeremy Frazier. The comic features two Rotting Christ fiction tales, one satanic and one inspired by ancient Greek mythology, that was written and drawn by longtime fans of the band.
The first book entitled, “Storming the Gates of Heaven” features Rotting Christ being send to heaven to get revenge from God after being killed. Angelic blood and guts! The second one is entitled ‘Wrath of The Cursed” and the band must lift the curse that goddess Athena struck upon Sakis Tolis. A tale full of mystery, mythical monsters and non-stop action.
The edition includes apart from the comic-book, a limited edition t-shirt and an autograph by Sakis Tolis.If the pro-orders reach the number 200 there’ s going to be a bonus gift!
