Legendary German heavy/power metallers Running Wild, are going to release their new album, entitled ‘Rapid Foray’, on 29 August, 2016, via SPV/Steamhammer. Next to Rolf Kasparek will be Michael Wolpers (drums), Ole Hempelmann (bass) and Peter Jordan (guitars). Cover artwork handled by Jens Reinhold (Virgin Steele, Freedom Call) based on a Rolf’s photo. The album produced by Rolf Kasparek with the help of the engineer Niki Nowy.
Rolf Kasparek commented: ‘The new tracks are more complex that the ones from the last two albums and this is something i’ve noticed playing the guitar parts. However at the same time the tracks remind me in a way some classics from our career. I think they are a trully interesting mix.’
