Savatage Producer and Trans-Siberian Orchestra creator Paul O’Neil died at age 61

With a Facebook post by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra page, was made known that the 61 years old composer, lyricist and producer Paul O’Neil, died. The cause of death isn’t yet announced to the public, but the announcement said the he suffered a chronic illness.

Paul O’Neil was the producer of Savatage ever since “Hall of the Mountain King” up until “Poets and Madmen” (1987-2001) and his work with Savatage has been of great importance for the band. He was also the creator of the prog rock project called “Trans-Siberian Orchestra” that became very successful, sold millions of copies, had high rankings in the charts and performed at countless live shows.
