They are active since 1997 and they have already released seven albums. They became known due to their previous album of 2012 «Portrait Of A Dying Heart» after their transcription in Scarlet Records. «A Time Never Come» is their second album and was released in 2001. Now with the new singer (Michele Luppi) they re-recorded it and it is identified as their eighth album, intended originally for Japan, but on the way they changed their minds and released it worldwide, at the same time they were celebrating the 15th anniversary of the band. The album has a concept and is divided into four parts concerning a girl named Aurienne who discovers a magic sphere. Each section of four, shows the routes of the girl with the sphere. It elaborates on her journey at different times reliving stories of various characters from myths, such as living like William Wallace.
I haven’t heard the original album of 2001, so I cannot compare one another. I just read that it’s a point where Queensryche, Fates Warning and Helloween meet. Listening to the new edition I can safely say that this is a power metal gem, relegating to Labyrinth, Vision Divine, Sonata Arctica etc… Nostalgic fans of Labyrinth 1996-200 era be summoned! Hardly anyone will hear nowadays tracks like “Under The Flag Of Mary” (with the awesome thrashy riff), “The Brave”, “Hamelin” and “Dr. Faustus “. They step on a lot of big power metal bands that have tired us with repetition and mediocrity, relying on the laurels of the big name that they created.
