Soundkrash returned after 3 years from their first work “Warfare” (2011) with their new album entitled “Shipwreck”. The band from Athens belongs to the new generation of hardcore/beat down scene and they make it clear from the first song of the album. Guitars are loud in the vein of New York scene (an obvious influence), changing between fast and slow riffs giving the rhythm, with the drums being, speaking the truth, a little bit weak in comparison with the other instruments. The extreme brutal and massive vocal surprise initially, but then blend in perfectly as many and quick rhythm changes holds your interesting throughout the album. Soundkrash returned clearly improved from all sides after their first EP and they leave many promises for the future but also for an upcoming first full length album. The only sure fact is that they will be in the center of our attention again!
