Every wave of revival in the art world creates some big names that seem to concern the world. Immediately after that comes, the heavy artillery of the pyramid with many remarkable artists who for various reasons do not form the top, but form the bulk of quality that justifies the term “revival”. The Germans Stallion fall into the second category in terms of the modern scene of traditional Heavy Metal sound. Their two previous albums are a nice sample of well-played Heavy/Speed metal that did not manage to reach the ears of a larger audience, but mainly occupied the fanatical listeners of traditional metal. Well, this will not change with this year’s “Slaves Of Time”. Those who have listened to their previous albums will not be surprised at/by anything. The band does not seek to originality but to bring to the table well-written songs and this, it manages with comfort. Pauly’s characteristic squeaky voice is ubiquitous, the Rhythm Section is robust, the Riffs are sometimes sharp and sometimes melodic while the band manages equally well when it decides to turn up the speed. They say that the third album is central to the development and popularity of a band. Stallion with “Slaves Of Time” will certainly not manage to break big, but will manage to establish themselves as a remarkable force of the scene. “No Mercy” also became an official video Clip, “All In” with its AC/DC Feeling and of course, the furious “Brain Dead”. Fans of the genre should check.
