In Greek metal scene we need more bands like The Unconfessed. And before you begin the whining allow me to elaborate… In our country Greece the dissociation between many things just never happened, so a dissociation between journalists and musicians… is a joke to expect… we just never tried… we like this whole best buds system. If you hide the name of the band in most of the review cases for a Greek band the reader sees comments, opinions and occasionally dithyrambs that one might think they were composed if not from the giants of each genre but at least from very respectable names of the scene. However these guys from Larissa (Central Greece) thankfully have neither the need for flattery nor the appetite to listen to lies. Their music is filled with love and passion for what they do. It’s composed from fans and though the cliché moments it’s absolutely fascinating. It is not a matter of friendship or acquaintances. Most of us would face a great difficulty in admitting to our friend that we don’t like his music let alone our own self, where are our limits. They did well by performing in Athens, Larissa and Thessaloniki in order to acquire experience by supporting big or small acts before taking the decision to get into the studio. How many do you really know that they do something like that? Most of the bands have as a measure of releasing an EP, LP or digital album the Facebook and YouTube likes. As a result of performing live, they forged their sound and they bonded as well as improved as musicians. With a mature approach, they crafted 4 tracks plus an exceptional intro, without taking too far, without using fillers and second class features. Pure raw orthodox black metal with many epic and heavy metal hints that honors the primal legacy from the best scene in the world that didn’t need to burn churches in order to impose world widely. Naturally is quite small in duration, enough though to make us ask for their debut album.
