Lost Realm Records always cuts well-crafted reissues. This one takes us on another trip back in time and transports us to Ohio in the early to mid – 90’s. The 9 songs of this collection were recorded between 1992 and 1994. The remix is very good, especially if you consider that we are talking about authentic demo recordings. Τrigger Zone released their first demo in 1985. Then they tried to combine Heavy and Power, haning a rough sound but also melodic vocals. In the 90’s however, they come closer to Thrash Metal, having a bit of groove in their compositions. Nevertheless as they are a band that was nurtured in the 90’s american underground, they brought me in mind legendary bands like Meliah Rage and Hallows Eve both in philosophy and in quality. The sound of Trigger Zone is very close to that of the aforementioned bands. Also mention that at that time thrash metal was not in its best period. Unfortunately, they never managed to release a full length album but this collection comes to partially restore this injustice. Despite the lack of a full length album, the band had managed to make a good name in the underground at that time. It was a support band in concerts of Pantera, Sacred Reich, Sanctuary and Annihilator. Alas, this re-realese is not combined with any reactiviation of the group. However, it is a good opportunity to learn about Trigger Zone.
