Country: International
Label: Unsigned
Year: 2016

The british/Spanish band Undead, released its second EP entitled, ‘Redemption’ in 2016, the precedent of their debut EP ‘Blood Enemy’ of 2015. If you try to find drastic differences from their first EP, there won’t be any, however the old school death metallers offer us a small gem in which they have improved their sound a great deal. The truth is that you will find a lot of black/thrash elements, as their sound is rough and raw with rot smell riffs. As soon as I got it in my hands, I really loved the whole underground thing that exuded from the cover artwork to its sound.

The EP features four songs, dirty as hell which travels us to the past. Of course it’s small in duration, by the time things start hitting up and start headbanging the shit out of it, it ends, its only 13 minutes long. I hope we have a new material soon from these guys and a full-length album, because it seems that they have a lot to give. If you are into this kind of sound, I recommend it unreservedly!

Surrealism : Pure psychic automatism, by which one proposes to express, either verbally, in writing, or by any other manner, the real functioning of thought. Dictation of thought in the absence of all control exercised by reason, outside of all aesthetic and moral preoccupation. Surrealism is based on the belief in the superior reality of certain forms of previously neglected associations, in the omnipotence of dream, in the disinterested play of thought. It tends to ruin once and for all other psychic mechanisms and to substitute itself for them in solving all the principal problems of life.
