“Existential Horror” is the debut full length from Undead. Undead are a quartet based between Spain and the UK. We have been followed Undead since their two first EP’s (“Blood Enemy” in 2015 and “Redemption” one year later) here in Metal Invader and we are extremely happy these guys finally managed to release a full length. Undead play old school Death Metal the Swedish way and dare to blend it with some brilliant Black Metal riffs here and there. The sound is straightforward, hostile, ferocious, aggressive exhibiting pure horror Death straight from the grave. There are many melodic parts and some clever solos, while their characteristic leads are catchy, memorable and definitely relentless. There is nothing innovating or something you haven’t heard before somewhere else. But this is a great album if you want to spend half an hour with blasting and bulldozing, totally old school pounding death metal, deeply rooted in the classic releases with shredding guitars and pummeling drums.
