VAMPS: release of new album “Bloodsuckers” on March 23rd

VAMPS, the Japanese rock band, will release a new studio album, “Bloodsuckers”, through Spinefarm Records on March 23rd in the UK/EU and March 24th in the US. This 13 track release is produced by VAMPS and Josh Wilbur (whose previous credits include Gojira and Lamb Of God) and housed in the artwork of mysterious Japanese artist Rockin’ Jelly Bean.
Songs on “Bloodsuckers”, which will be available on CD & download, include ‘World’s End’, ‘Get Away’, ‘Replay’, ’The Jolly Roger’ and ‘Vampire’s Love’.

HYDE, who launched VAMPS, states: “Bloodsuckers” is a record that we spent almost one year putting together. For me, this is the best work we’ve done so far, and we would love to tour around the world with these songs…”
On the live front, VAMPS have played over 300 dates around the world in the past five years, including shows in North America; they have also visited the South American continent, where their second album, Beast (2010), charted in the Top 4 – a unique achievement for a Japanese act.
