Veonity was formed in the beginning of 2013 by Anders Skold, Samuel Lundstrom and Kristoffer Lidre, with a vision to reclaim the power to the metal and carry on the mission to spread glory throughout the world. Τhey entered the studio and recorded their first EP “Live Forever”, which I’ve not listened to yet.
This is their debut album coming with a fantastic cover but the content did not please me. It was mixed by Ronny Milianowicz and mastered by Jens Bogren and that’s a very good credit. They got some good guitar work here, strong choruses and memorable melodies and a sound that takes the listener back to 90’s but to my ear it’s a little bit triteness. Maybe I’m not the suitable guy to review it because there are people that surely will like it. It’s just not my taste. All fans of 90’s power metal should check ‘em out.
