Through the label with the best name in the history of underground labels comes the new album of Violentor. That ranks them as one of the best new Italian bands out there. Their 3rd album entitled “Maniacs” finds the band in a great shape, full of passion and aggression. After a short intro ,you will face a 35minute storm of rabid, hellish and blasphemous metal that’s guaranteed to rip your head out from your spine in no time. Thrash at it’s finest, that sounds mostly influenced from the great German scene, good old punk and a twist of Italy’s 80’s extreme metal. These are some of their main elements though as you will hear riffs and ideas in general that bring in mind Onslaught, Venom and Bathory among others.  Throughout the album they don’t lift their foot off the gas for a second nevertheless they don’t sound boring or repeating for a second and that is because they have songs like the title track, The Great Deceiver or Schizophrenic Paranoid among others, that keep the album’s level high at all times. One more thing that makes Violentor stand out from the rest bands of today’s thrash scene is the vocals. When most new singers out there copycat Quorthon with tons of delays and effects and sound pretty much all the same between them, these guys simply abducted a demented inmate from their local asylum and put him behind the microphone. And truth is Cane sounds like a mad man here. Their sound is also very good, allowing the songs to be heard loud and punchy like someone threw a big block of concrete on your head. The band is ready to breakout with tours in Europe and US scheduled for later this year and make sure to check them out if they play near you. This is thrash from thrashers to thrashers, honest, pure and fast.

Listen to their album now!
