Overpower are a high energy rock’n’roll band that was formed in 2012 In Thessaloniki. Their main influences include Airbourne, Hellacopters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, AC/DC, as well as Neil Young, Eddie Vedder and Jack Johnson. Compared with the majority of local bands, Overpower are prolific both music-wise as well as audio-visual-wise because they count a lot of video clips for various of their tracks. The band’s members are Stefan Oz (vocals/guitar), Alex Vlash (guitar/vocals) Nick Ditch (drums), Petros Christo (bass) from the legendary band FIREWIND.
In 2013’s February, the band released their debut full-length album “It Takes a Little Time”, which contained the single “Frap’s Time”, the video clip for which made an impact, widening fast the band’s fanbase.

In the middle of 2014, Overpower released a brand new single entitled “Alright, ok!”

Overpower released a new single, entitled “Can you tell me”, in mid-June of 2015 via Rock of Angels Records. The recordings and production was handled by Sotiris Noukas at Underground Studios in Θεσσαλονίκη.

At the end of that year, Overpower were guests at a Greek TV Show called Radio Arvila.
Overpower’s second album “Smile To Feel High” was released on January 2017.
