Genre: Black Metal
Country: Germany
Label: Supreme Chaos Records
Year: 2014

Vyre is a six-member band from Germany. They recorded a Demo which was their ticket to Supreme Chaos Records. After the contract, the band released two full-length albums. “The Initial Frontier pt.1 and pt.2” are different from the rest typical recordings. Let’s see what exactly “The Initial Frontier pt.2” is.

Vyre have advanced their unique music with more atmospheric and epic elements, have enriched their sound with melodic “roads” and have fulfilled the empty parts, musically speaking, with melancholic rhythms and more galaxian synths. Besides, cello passages, violin paths and clean guitars develop the romantic view of outer space.

Melodic and virtuoso guitar solos cooperate almost perfectly with the rest instruments and the equivalent riffs lead to a more progressive style. Also, a mix of clean vocals with the infernal and diabolical ones are combined in a good way with the rest, giving a more orchestral and epic feeling to the songs.

Of course, they don’t forget the blast beats sessions and aggressive riffs and rhythms, proving that Black Metal is the basis of their music. The “transformations” in rhythms and generally the tempo changes are quite interesting and so pleasant without raping your ears!

Generally speaking, Vyre play Black Metal from a Post, Avant-Garde point of view. A NASA’s documentary of an outer space is one of the most appropriate “video dressing” for their music. They are epic from start to finish; the progression of music and compositions is so sweet and at the same time so complete. In conclusion, I have to say: “This recording is worth listening to! Try it!”.

RECOMMENDED SONGS: “Diabolicum ex Machina” and “Neutronenstern”.
