Warhawk are hailing from Gothenburg/Uddevalla,Sweden. They started two years ago. Members play in/have played in Motorbreath, Rawhide, Strul, Bestial Mockery, Anatomi-71, Styggelse and Sprängd just to name a few. Influenced heavily by Motörhead, Girlschool, Tank, Gunslinger, Venom, Gehennah and other cool rock ‘n roll bands Warhawk have managed to create a personal identity that the raw, unpolished yet catchy and full of testosterone sound oozes in every single note they play, while capturing the listener by the balls. The riffs come with massive groove, the thick bass is very gritty and dirty and the bristly vocals are delivered with a suitable amount of attitude and don’t lose their quality and sheer energy during the entire EP. The drums have a 70’s touch and accompanies perfectly the speedy riffing and the excellent solos. The 4-track EP entitled “Filth Rock ‘N Roll” was recorded in the summer of 2020 at Elementstudion with Oskar Karlsson and at Studio Filth Hawk with Micke Pee. It works like a forerunner of the debut studio full length that will come in early Spring 2022 on Cimex Records.
