1. Venom – Welcome To Hell.
This LP is the synonym of the words “electrical sound” put together. As influential as Black Sabbath.
2. Piledriver – Metal Inquisition
The absolute dirt jem of the underground. The sickest LP of all.
3. Running Wild – Death Or Glory
No ,it ain’t Heavy Metal music. This IS musical perfection.
4. Razor – Evil Invaders
Best thrash lp and I don’t care about different opinions. Far more extreme than what ever the Yankees were up to.
5. Accept – Balls To The Wall
The definition of Heavy Metal. No power, epic, speed, thrash, death, doom, black blah blah “you name it” metal. Just pure, boiling hot HEAVY METAL!
6. Exciter – Heavy Metal Maniac
The heaviest lp of the 80ies. The intro riff of “Iron Dogs” can demolish a steel skyscraper.
7. Destructor – Maximum Destruction!
Extreme levels of headbanging here. Leather, spikes, bullet belts. The way metal should be.
8. Gehennah – King Of The Sidewalk
Best Heavy Metal LP of the 90ies. Just pure filth. A case of total mayhem!
9. Τank – Filth Hounds Of Hades
One of Britain’s ugliest, filthiest and meanest LP s ever. The Brab bros and Algy Ward were leading forces in the dirt metal race.
10. Riot – Restless Breed
America’s best band ever in their mightiest lp. No, no “Thundersteel” here. Just pure street metal.
11. Diamond Head – Lighting To The Nations
Influential for most of the “greats”. A magical moment of Heavy Metal music.
12. Omen – Battle Cry
Epic Metal’s out most brutal LP ever. The epitome of testosterone.
