US melodic dark metallers Witherfall just launched a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down”. The track was recorded during the time the band was preparing their 2018 “Prelude to Sorrow” album, while it will be included in the band’s forthcoming E.P. “Vintage”, due to be out on March 22nd via Century Media. In the E.P., among others, one more cover will be included, Helloween’s “A Tale that wasn’t right”. “I Won’t Back Down” was a tribute to the victims of Hurricane Michael, which also destroyed Witherfall’s recording studio, Boogie Tracks.
