Daemonia Nymphe’s music for the Shakespearean play “Macbeth” which they composed in 2016 for the National Theater of North Greece, certainly goes beyond the rest of their work, however always bringing their signature.
One of the songs that stood out is “Witches’ Lullaby” (The Lullaby of the Witches) which, in their new project, serves as an inspiration and starting point for collaborations with female artists, with whom the band shares the same artistic vision.
The Japanese Hatis Noit, the Spanish Priscilla Hernández and the British Victoria Couper and Rey Yusuf improvise on the melody of the song and create a result that captures the unique vocal and synthetic style of each. Evi Stergiou, a member of Daimonia Nymphε, also participates in the project, with her own version. The EP was edited by Spyros Giasafakis.
