Penny Dreadful was for the genre fans, a gem that ended unfairly after three seasons. Hopes of course for a fourth season were fading away, and we were left looking for the next big thing. Fortunately, it seems that our unholy invocations were heard although with a delay, and the beloved gothic horror series returns to Showtime in April 2020 and in particular on April 26th under the title Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
